County Honors Dozens at 51st Annual Public Safety Awards

Montgomery County held its 51st Annual Public Safety Awards ceremony, co-presented with the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, honoring dozens of public safety professionals from five agencies including MCPD, MCFRS, MCSO, DOCR, and MNCPP. Awards ranged from Gold Valor to Community Service and Public Safety Partner honors, with County Executive Marc Elrich, Council President Natali Fani-González, Lt. Gov. Aruna Miller, and federal lawmakers in attendance. MCPD Officer III Eric Mercurio received the top Gold Valor Award.
