Joint Committee Briefed on Early Care and Education Workforce

The joint Education and Culture, Health and Human Services, and Economic Development Committee meets March 26, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. to receive an update on the early care and education workforce. The presentation will include representatives from the Children's Opportunity Alliance, DHHS, Montgomery College, MCPS, and Montgomery Moving Forward, and will cover findings from the Montgomery County Early Care and Education Workforce Compensation Study released in October 2025. The update will also include recommendations from Montgomery Moving Forward and the Children's Opportunity Alliance.
