ICE Out Act Heads to Economic Development Committee April 10

The Montgomery County Council held a public hearing on the ICE Out Act, legislation introduced by Councilmember Evan Glass that would prohibit private immigration detention facilities from operating in the county. The bill is scheduled to be heard by the Economic Development Committee on April 10, 2026. The hearing drew testimony from multiple residents.
