Super VITA Day Completes 63 Returns at Bohrer Park

On March 14, 2026, the Community Action Agency's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program partnered with the City of Gaithersburg Financial Empowerment Center to host a Super VITA Day at Bohrer Park Activity Center. Staff and volunteers served more than 100 visitors, completing 63 tax returns and starting 15 more; 30% of participants were new to the VITA program. The multilingual team provided services in French, Portuguese, Spanish, Mandarin, and Farsi.
