Council Holds Public Hearings on 10 Bills and Master Plan

The Montgomery County Council held public hearings on 10 legislative items, including bills addressing day care property tax credits, forest conservation and trees, labor peace agreements for hotel development, payments in lieu of taxes for public housing, and transportation demand management repeal. The Council also heard testimony on the Master Plan of Highways and Transitways 2025 Technical Update and a resolution to create a Tax Increment Financing District in White Oak. Written and in-person testimony was accepted.
