Council Holds Five Hearings on FY2027 Operating Budget

The Montgomery County Council will hold five public hearings on April 7, 8, and 9, 2026 to take testimony on the Fiscal Year 2027 Operating Budget. Hearings are scheduled at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on April 7 and 8, and at 1:30 p.m. on April 9, at the County Council offices in Rockville. County Executive Marc Elrich submitted his recommended budget on March 13; the Council is expected to adopt a final budget in late May, with the budget taking effect July 1.
