Sayles Leads Read Across America Week Visits to High-Need Schools

Councilmember Sayles led a weeklong Read Across America initiative in March 2026, visiting nearly ten of Montgomery County's highest-need schools, including an early learning center, to read with students and encourage literacy. During the visits, she also met with teachers and school leaders to discuss capital budget needs and aging infrastructure challenges.
