DHHS Opens FY27 EquiCare Subsidy Seats Grant, $2M Available

Montgomery County DHHS Early Childhood Services and the Office of Grants Management opened the FY27 EquiCare: Subsidy Seats Grant Program on April 1, 2026, making $2,075,059 available to licensed child care providers in Montgomery County. The program funds full-day, high-quality child care for infants and toddlers ages 6 weeks through 3 years, with minimum awards of $206,960 for centers and $51,740 for family child care programs. Applications are due by April 24, 2026 at 11:59 PM, with virtual office hours available April 6 and April 13.
