County Offers Reimbursement Up to $1,175 for CDA Credential

Montgomery County Child Care Support Services (CCSS) is offering financial reimbursement to childcare educators pursuing a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential: up to $400 for a CDA prep course, up to $525 for the CDA assessment fee, and up to $250 for the CDA renewal fee. Assistant PreK teachers must earn their CDA by July 2027 to qualify for the PreK Expansion Grant, and the credential also satisfies the educator requirement for EquiCare participation. Educators can register through ProSolutions or another MSDE-approved provider and submit a reimbursement form after receiving their CDA certificate.
