TE Committee Reviews $70M MCDOT, Vision Zero FY27 Budgets

The Transportation and Environment (TE) Committee, chaired by Councilmember Evan Glass, will meet on April 13, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. to review FY27 operating budgets for the Department of Transportation General Fund ($70 million, a 4.1 percent increase), the Vision Zero NDA (more than $497,000, a 119 percent increase), and several other transportation-related NDAs. The Vision Zero NDA increase reflects programmatic and staffing additions to support the County Executive's initiative to eliminate traffic fatalities and serious injuries. The HOA Road Maintenance Reimbursement and Weather Response NDAs are both proposed at level funding.
