GO Committee Reviews $72M TEBS, Cable TV FY27 Budgets April 13

The Government Operations and Fiscal Policy (GO) Committee, chaired by Councilmember Kate Stewart, will meet on April 13, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. to review FY27 operating budgets for Technology and Enterprise Business Solutions (TEBS) at more than $72.2 million (a 0.5 percent decrease), the Cable TV and Communications Plan at more than $7.8 million (a 38.8 percent increase), the Device Client Management NDA at more than $19.1 million, and the Telecommunications NDA at more than $3.5 million. The TEBS budget reflects a proposed five-hour-per-workweek reduction in all contracted support, saving more than $3.1 million. The Cable TV budget increase reflects a reallocation of funds, including increased allocations to Montgomery Community Television and Montgomery Community Media.
