County Council Operating Budget Hearings Draw 200-Plus Residents

The Montgomery County Council held five operating budget public hearings the week of April 7–11, 2026, receiving testimony from more than 200 residents in person and hundreds more in written submissions. Council committees will continue reviewing proposed operating budgets in the coming weeks. No final budget decisions have been announced.
