EC Committee Reviews MCPS Antiracist Audit Action Plan Progress

The Education and Culture (EC) Committee will also meet on Jan. 12, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. to receive an update on the implementation of the MCPS Antiracist Audit Action Plan. The audit, conducted from December 2020 through July 2022 by the Mid-Atlantic Equity Consortium (MAEC), provided systemwide recommendations covering school culture, workforce diversity, curriculum, and equity of access. The committee will examine those recommendations in the context of ongoing development of a new MCPS strategic plan.
