Audit Committee Meets June 25 for OIG Year-End Briefing

The Montgomery County Council Audit Committee meets Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. to receive an end-of-year briefing from the Office of the Inspector General. The briefing will cover the OIG's workplan, efficiency efforts, and fiscal accountability work during FY2026, in which the OIG completed 22 publications. It will also address a reinterpretation of the Maryland Public Information Act by the state Attorney General's Office that affects OIG access to county records.
