DHHS May 27, 2026
The Behavioral Health Crisis Stabilization Center (BHCSC) at 1301 Piccard Drive temporarily closed on April 17, 2026, to begin planned renovations. The 24/7 walk-in crisis facility is expected to reopen in November 2026 with expanded capacity to serve youth and individuals requiring involuntary behavioral health crisis care via Emergency Evaluation Petition. All other crisis services — including walk-in assessments, Mobile Crisis Outreach Team, and Residential Crisis Services — continue to operate without interruption during the closure.
