Bill 9-26 Would Move A/C Requirement to May 15 for Landlords

Bill 9-26, introduced by Councilmember Kristin Mink, would require landlords of multifamily properties in Montgomery County to turn on air conditioning beginning May 15, rather than the current June 1 requirement. The Planning, Housing and Parks Committee is scheduled to hold a worksession on the bill later this fall.
