Burtonsville Elementary to Be MCPS First Net Zero School

Montgomery County Public Schools began construction on Burtonsville Elementary School, its first Net Zero school, during Fiscal Year 2025. The project is part of the County's broader building sustainability efforts under the Climate Action Plan. It is highlighted in the FY2025 CAP Annual Report covering July 2024 through June 2025.
