Community Action Board Testifies at April Council Budget Hearings

Community Action Board Chair DaVida Rowley testified at a Montgomery County Council budget hearing on April 7, 2026, focusing on affordable housing, energy assistance, food security, immigrant community needs, and the Working Families Income Supplement. Ten Community Advocacy Institute participants also testified at hearings on April 7 and 8 on topics including mental health services, renters' rights, Black maternal health, and homelessness services.
