County Receives $150K CFE Fund Grant for Disaster Financial Recovery

Montgomery County was awarded a $150,000 grant from the Cities for Financial Empowerment (CFE) Fund to connect residents with financial counseling and assistance programs following emergencies and disasters. The initiative is led by the Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (OEMHS) in partnership with the Office of Food Systems Resilience. The county is one of a select group of jurisdictions nationwide participating in this program.
