County's Eighth Annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony June 4

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich and Councilmember Evan Glass will host the eighth annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony at 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Veterans Memorial Plaza adjacent to the Leggett Executive Office Building at 101 Monroe Street in Rockville. Featured speakers include Karen Holmes, a veteran and transgender advocate, and Valeria Carranza, senior director of government relations at MomsRising. Speakers and officials will arrive aboard MCDOT's #RideWithPride Ride On bus, wrapped in the Intersex-Inclusive Progress Pride Flag design; in case of rain, the event moves to the LEOB auditorium.
