DHHS Runs Three Minority Health Programs With Ongoing Virtual Events

The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) operates three minority health programs — the African American Health Program, the Asian American Health Initiative, and the Latino Health Initiative — offering culturally appropriate health and mental wellness services. Current virtual offerings include Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for Seniors (Thursdays 1–2:30 p.m., through August 27, 2026), a Summer Mindfulness Program for Adults & Teens (Fridays 12–1 p.m., through August 14, 2026), and Mental Health Matters sessions every second and fourth Tuesday 2:30–4 p.m. All sessions are held online via Zoom.
