EC Committee Reviews Arts and Humanities Cultural Plan

The Montgomery County Council's Education and Culture (EC) Committee, chaired by Will Jawando and including Councilmembers Shebra Evans and Kristin Mink, will meet on July 16, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. The committee will receive an update on the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County Cultural Plan, including an overview of the Cultural Plan Draft Executive Summary. The plan was developed in partnership with Metris Arts Consulting through a community-centered research process and marks the first cultural plan since Creative Montgomery in 2001.
