Free Dementia Friends Info Sessions Scheduled at Three County Sites

Certified Montgomery County Dementia Friendly America Speakers Bureau presenters are hosting free 45–60 minute information sessions in August 2026 at White Oak Library, virtually via Visiting Angels, and at Wheaton Senior Center. Sessions cover recognizing signs of dementia, communication tips, and creating dementia-friendly environments. Organizations or communities can also schedule a private session by contacting coordinator Jocelyn O'Rourke.
