Free Red Line Shuttles Run Daily During 9-Week Metro Closure

Metro will operate two free, ADA-accessible shuttle services between North Bethesda and Friendship Heights stations during the July 6–Sept. 6 closure. A Metro Local Shuttle serving all intermediate stops (Grosvenor-Strathmore, Medical Center, Bethesda) will run every 5–8 minutes with approximately 10-minute average travel times between stops. A Metro Express Shuttle offering non-stop service between the two endpoints will also run every 5–8 minutes, with an average travel time of approximately 26 minutes. Free parking will be available at North Bethesda and Grosvenor-Strathmore stations.
