Free VITA Tax Help Available June 23–October 28

The Community Action Agency's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program will provide free help with prior-year, current-year, and amended tax returns from June 23 through October 28, 2026. In-person appointments are available Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 11 AM–5 PM, at 1401 Rockville Pike, Suite 320; virtual appointments are offered Thursdays, 11 AM–5 PM. The service is open to Montgomery County residents with a combined household income of $69,000 or less, and scheduling opens June 1 via the CASHBACK website or by calling 240-777-1123.
