Free Women's Self-Defense Class at Burtonsville Library June 23

The Montgomery County Commission for Women is offering a free two-hour introductory women's self-defense class on Monday, June 23, 2026, from 7:00–8:45 p.m. at the Marilyn J Praisner Branch Library in Burtonsville. The class covers situational awareness, verbal strategies, and basic physical defense skills. Open to women only; participants must be at least 13, and those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Registration is required.
