Free Women's Self-Defense Class Offered in Burtonsville June 23

The Montgomery County Commission for Women is offering a free, in-person introductory women's self-defense class on Monday, June 23, from 7:00–8:45 p.m. at the Marilyn J. Praisner Branch Library in Burtonsville. The two-hour session covers situational awareness, verbal strategies, and basic physical defense skills. The class is open to women only; participants must be at least 13 years old, and those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Registration is required.
