FY27 Budget Expands Health and Human Services Programs

The FY27 recommended budget expands Montgomery County's health and human services investments, including support for eight Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams—the largest behavioral health mobile crisis deployment in County history—and more than $12 million annually in food assistance. Funding for services to end and prevent homelessness grows from $24.5 million in FY20 to more than $68 million. The budget also improves reimbursement rates for Montgomery Cares providers and increases support for the Senior Nutrition and Dental programs.
