Hallie Wells Middle School Wins MCDOT 'Paint the Plow' Contest

Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) named Hallie Wells Middle School in Clarksburg the first-place winner of its 2026 'Paint the Plow' contest, part of National Public Works Week. The school's design, titled 'Together,' depicted people holding hands on a blue snowplow and earned a $500 award. Second place ($300) went to Cabin John Middle School in Potomac, and third place ($200) went to Tilden Middle School in Rockville; 14 county middle schools participated and more than 500 people voted.
