HHS Committee Reviews Developmental Disabilities Provider Payment Bill

The HHS Committee will also meet on July 23, 2026 at 1 p.m. to review Bill 12-26, which would amend requirements for calculating payments to service providers for persons with developmental disabilities in Montgomery County. The bill would remove an outdated requirement that DHHS calculate payments using a wage target of 125 percent of the County minimum wage — a requirement already eliminated from the operating budget in FY2020. The lead sponsor is the Council President at the request of the County Executive.
