Homeless Hotline Active Amid Dangerous Air Quality Conditions

Montgomery County's 24-hour homeless information hotline (240-907-2688) is available for residents concerned about the welfare of people experiencing homelessness during the July 17, 2026 Code Purple air quality event. Street outreach teams will attempt to locate individuals and connect them with resources. County recreational centers, senior centers, and libraries are recommended as air-conditioned shelter locations.
