Maryland Governor Signs Longevity Ready Maryland Act

Maryland Governor Wes Moore signed the Longevity Ready Maryland Act (HB 804/SB 860) on April 14, 2026, in Annapolis. The legislation establishes four goals in state law: building a longevity ecosystem, promoting economic opportunity, preparing Marylanders to afford longevity, and optimizing health and mobility. Montgomery County DHHS Aging & Disability Services Chief Dr. Patrice McGhee and Area Agency on Aging Director Dr. Kimberly Johnson attended the signing.
