DEP May 11, 2026
The Maryland DHCD Multifamily Energy Efficiency and Housing Affordability (MEEHA) EmPOWER Program is accepting applications to fund electricity and gas consumption reductions in multifamily buildings. Significant funding remains available in the Potomac Edison service territory, and awards are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Eligible properties must maintain at least 20% of units at or below 80% AMI for five years, and participating owners may receive partial reimbursement of energy audit costs.
