National Night Out Events Countywide on August 4

National Night Out returns to Montgomery County on August 4, 2026, with free community events bringing together first responders and residents. The Olney event—one of the largest in the country—is sponsored by the Olney Chamber of Commerce, Montgomery County Recreation, MCPD's 4th District, Sandy Spring Volunteer Fire Department, and Maryland-National Capital Park Police. Olney's celebration will feature a DJ, performances, fire and crime prevention information, and exhibitions from more than 40 local organizations.
