Rec Centers, Aquatic Facilities Close for August–September Maintenance

Montgomery County Recreation has scheduled rolling closures of aquatic centers and recreation centers for annual maintenance and cleaning between Aug. 9 and Sept. 27, 2026. Affected aquatic facilities include Martin Luther King Jr. Indoor Swim Center, Olney Swim Center, Germantown Indoor Swim Center, and Silver Spring Recreation and Aquatic Center. Twelve recreation centers across the county are closed on a staggered weekly schedule throughout the period.
