Takoma Park Electrification Grant Applications Due Sept. 6

The City of Takoma Park's Multifamily Building Improvement Grant (MFBIG) Program offers grants—not loans—to owners and property managers of 3-to-30-unit multifamily buildings within the city for electrification upgrades. Phase 1 applications, which cover a fully city-funded ASHRAE Level II energy audit, are due by September 6, 2026. Both rental and condo buildings are eligible, and previous grant recipients may reapply.
